JOB SUMMARY:
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides direct care and support services to individuals with developmental disabilities in a community residential setting. Work is performed independently following the Individual Support Plans developed by the Interdisciplinary Team under the general supervision of the Program Specialist. This work is reviewed through observation, conference, and written evaluation. The essential functions of a DSP include support individuals with self-care, health care, domestic skills, nutrition needs, vocational/educational pursuits, mobility, community integration, and money management. You will be required to participate in team meetings, record individual progress, and maintain and safe and healthy home environment.
