Thomas “Tom” Rumfola  joined the McConnell LifeSharing Family in October, 2001.  Tom was in need of emergency respite services and the McConnell family helped Tom through his challenges.  These included but were not limited to physical/verbal aggression, lack of boundaries and invasion of other’s personal space.  Through support from Fayette Resources, Inc. the family and Tom were able to help Tom overcome these challenges.

Today, Tom attends the Adult Training Program in Punxsutawney five days a week.  Tom attends the Beacon Lodge Camp each summer and was recently named Honorary Counselor of the week for helping others.  Tom attends church each Sunday, and is very social and makes friends wherever he goes.
