Sarah came to Fayette Resources in May of 2002. Due to behavioral issues she had been heavily medicated. Upon placement with Fayette Resources, her medications were reduced, issues of personal boundary and physical aggression began to be displayed. This presented a new challenge for the team at Fayette Resources. She was referred to the Program Assistance Team for disrespect of personal space of others, inappropriate touching and inappropriate comments in June 2002. Although Sarah was once on a restrictive plan for physical aggression, Sarah worked hard to come off that program and has since come a long way.
She has had the same job for quite some time and enjoys working. Her work supervisor has stated that Sarah is her top worker
in productivity. She has increased her relationship building skills not only improving her relationship with her mother but also many other significant people in her life. She has maintained a strong relationship with her boyfriend for approximately a year. She is currently working on becoming self-medicating and does quite well with managing her money. Sarah wishes to someday live independently and is diligently working on the skills needed to do so. Way to go Sarah!
