Eddie moved into Family Living in September 2002 with numerous behaviors issues.  Knowing it was going to be a challenge for the provider and a big change for Eddie, we both had our work cut out for us.  Eddie participated in the Punxy Adult Training 5 days a week.

Eddies days were consistent and routine.  Introducing him to different things daily and at a slow pace and letting him know it was okay to make mistakes and try it again in a different way to make it work.  as weeks turned into months, he slowly progressed and matured becoming more independent and making his own decisions.  Making friends, showing what he want to do.  He wanted to work and earn a pay check.  He worked cleaning in the community at the local Moose Club which he is a member, and continues to present at conventions and outings sponsored by the lodge.

He lost his job due to no work opportunity.  Then he got a job working at Goodwill industries in Falls Creek and is happy with his paycheck in which he likes spending and saving for his small trips.  His earned alone time and in the community.  His future goal is to live on his own someday and we support his dreams.  Eddie has improved over the years to the young man that he is and continues to grow, with the support of his LSP, his family and Fayette Resources.
