The 90's saw the birth of a whole new approach to care in the MH/MR community. With a single goal in mind and a clear vision of the future, Kathy Morris forged ahead and created an agency that focused on providing care through individualized services. The fundamental concept that each person is different, with different dreams, hopes, needs and unique abilities can have enormous implications over their lifetime. Kathy knew that a successful agency would be one where each individual received customized care in a fulfilling, safe and loving enironment. Through her vision and determination, Fayette Resources grew to be more than she ever expected; providing services throughout the Western Region of Pennsylvania.On October 1st, 2000, Fayette Resources began to also provide services in Clearfield and Jefferson Counties and since that time, we've added the counties of Cameron, Elk, Armstrong and Indiana.

As Fayette Reources has grown, our mission has always remained the same; to support people with disabilities in the community by providing the highest quality individualized services, promoting independence, choice, growth, acceptance and respect. Making that dream a reality takes a team comprised of our management, employees and contracted employes alike. Together, with Kathy’s support and encouragement, we have forged ahead, and our mission today still stands tall and strong. We take pride in our accomplishments and celebrate both our large and small victories, each and every day. This Tenth Anniversary celebration is time to reflect on why Fayette Resources has been so successful and to thank all of you who have made that success possible.
