There exists so much confusion about "what autism is" and "what to do" that best serves the child or adult with that diagnosis. This presentation intends to contrast scientific facts vs. myths and misunderstandings, best practices vs. fads and foolishness. Although the focus is on "autism", this presentation will also address other challenging behavioral and learning issues.

Fayette Resources starts its community forum series in April with "the ABC's of Challenging Behavior." This free training for parents, families, teacher and professionals is presented to hose supporting people with Autism Spectrum Disorders. This presentation give you effective tools for understanding and addressing challenging behaviors, including a review of the Applied Behavior Analysis and positive behavior supports.
